Deciphering Jargon

If I were to externalize my internal monologue, the world would be fascinated and confused. As I've written music over the years, I've made countless rules for myself. They are contextual to the DAW I use (Logic Pro X) - micro-movements learned from repetition - melodic doo dads that work because I say so - my neural assimilation into this program is wild. It is an extension of myself I may have created my own language and my music is the closest you'll ever get to understanding it. We all do this in one way or another.

I make music by stopping conscious thought and running on flow - my brain knows exactly what to do, my ego is what pulls the emergency break and halts the process. I can only write when I rely on complete trust in my ability.

Each time I finish up a session, I've learned something new. Pushing boundaries and soaking up new iterations and practices. And to think, a whole world lives through the anthropomorphization of one's and zero's.
